Nick San Filippo

CEO
Nick is the CEO of American Insurance Services Agency, Comp-Care Brokerage, and New Jersey Agency Network, and has been in the insurance industry since 1976. He started American Insurance Services in 1985, and being able to realize the opportunity being offered by SIAA, he became their first Master Agency in 1994 with New Jersey Agency Network, Inc. Since that time, Nick has worked tirelessly to make the Network a Member and Carrier friendly organization. NJAN is built on the understanding that good partners, good business, and quality ethics make all the difference in establishing a successful insurance agency alliance.

Dawn Law

President
Dawn began her career with American Insurance Services in 1985, as a Personal Lines CSR. During the past 30 years, she has worked her way up and in 2015 she was named President of the firm and its affiliated companies which includes New Jersey Agency Network. She has worked with Nick since 1994, building New Jersey Agency Network from the ground up. Dawn believes that strong principles and integrity are necessary in establishing a solid foundation in any valuable relationship.

Michael Lavelle

Regional Vice President

Michael joined the New Jersey Agency Network in 2025. He began his insurance career in 1997 and has owned both captive and independent agencies. Since 2005, he has served as a consultant to small and mid-sized agencies, specializing in growth strategies and financial turnarounds. Michael is deeply passionate about helping agencies and agents achieve long-term success and build a sustainable future. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing his lifelong passion—cars, in all aspects; from collecting, restoring and racing them.

Frank Raab

Agency Development Field Specialist
Frank joined NJAN in 2018. He comes with thirteen years of agency experience. He has held roles as producer, account manager, and was in a commercial marketing manager position for the past ten years. Frank is married with 3 children, and when he is not working with our agents, he is working with his town’s baseball program, and coaching his son’s baseball teams.

Lupe Zuniga

Personal Lines Placer
Lupe joined NJAN in 2016. She was part of the American Insurance Personal Lines department since 2009, and has over 17 years of experience in the P/C field. She believes organizations are most likely to perform well when their people work effectively as a team. In her spare time she is a busy mom of 3.

Stephanie Handel

Administrative Assistant
Stephanie joined NJAN in 2019. She comes to NJAN with 14 years of administrative experience working as an Office Manager. Stephanie is married with two children. In her spare times she enjoys spending time with family and friends and vacationing in Disney World.
